Regular City Council Minutes - 06/16/03 <br />Minutes -Page 2 <br />Mr. Machyowsky complimented Dr. VerHagen on <br />providing what he opined as an honest opinion and <br />comments regarding recent derogatory comments <br />regarding the Mayor and several Councilmembers. <br />Mr. Machyowsky protested the City Council's use of the <br />Pioneer Press as the City's legal newspaper rather than the <br />Roseville Review; opining that the reporter assigned to <br />cover Roseville appears to write in a derogatory manner <br />regarding Mayor Kysylyczyn and Councilmembers Kough <br />and Schroeder, while portraying Councilmembers <br />Klausing and Maschka in complimentary terms. Mr. <br />Machyowsky opined that the reporter did not provide <br />readers and the community with a fair representation of <br />City events. <br />II. Review Agenda Review <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called for any comments or discussion on Agenda <br />the Consent Agenda. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn advised that, via e-mail, Public Hearing <br />Item VI., C., entitled, "Appeal of the Community Development <br />Director's Setback Permit Decision, Pursuant to Roseville City <br />Code, Section 1013.05, Relating to the Property at 562 Heinel <br />Drive," had been withdrawn by the applicant on June 12, 2003. <br />There was no discussion requested from the public or <br />Councilmembers regarding any Consent Agenda items. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn announced a revision in the Agenda order, <br />with presentation of the Miss Roseville Royalty Ambassadors <br />(Item IV A) between the Presentations, Item III A., and Item III <br />B. <br />III.
