<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-eighth day of July, 1997, at 6:30 o'clock <br />p.rn. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, and Wall and the following were absent: <br />Goedeke. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9434 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PROJECT, ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, <br />CITY PROJECT P-97-11; LONG LAKE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville adopted July 14, 1997, fixed a date for a <br />public hearing on project P-97 -II; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville held a public hearing in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 as amended on July 28, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville ordered the project to be constructed and authorized the <br />City's consulting engineer Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik, and Associates, to prepare plans and specifications <br />for the following improvement and has prepared and presented such plans and specifications to the Council <br />for approval: P-97-11-construction of Long Lake Road from Tenninal Road to T. H. 36 Service Drive; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />I. In accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing on July 28, 1997 to consider the proposed construction of Project P-97-11, Long Lake <br />Road, consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, water <br />main, drainage facilities, sidewalks and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting: <br /> <br />Long Lake Road between County Road B2 and the T.H.36 Service Drive <br /> <br />as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $475,000 and substantially in <br />accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of <br />the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine <br />and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed and that all streets be constructed <br />substantially as recommended in the feasibility report. The City Public Works Director is designated as <br />the Engineer for the project and is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the fmal plans and <br />specifications for the improvement. <br />
