2. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 3. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Focus, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for P-97 -II shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public Works on August 25, 1997, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the City Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Manager for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski, and Wall and the following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
