(PF 3494) <br /> <br />8.1 <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10115 entitled, "A Resolution Approving a <br />377 Square Foot (3/5%) Variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) for Norman Gregg, 1137 <br />County Road B-2 (PF 3494)." <br /> <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch briefly <br />reviewed the request, stating that the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval on a 4/1 vote; thus <br />establishing the need to consider this item other than on <br />the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn opened the Public Hearing at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Norman Gregg, 1137 West County Road B-2 <br />Mr. Gregg, the applicant, opined that he could reduce the <br />size of the detached accessory building, but it would <br />interfere with this patio area. Mr. Gregg stated his <br />reluctance to include gutters on the garage, opining that <br />they would create additional problems due to existing trees <br />on the lot, and expressing confidence that all potential <br />drainage was contained on his lot due to it being the <br />lowest lot of any adjoining properties. <br /> <br />James and Lorrie Dubl, 2415 Lexington Avenue <br />Mr. Duhl spoke against the project, objecting to any <br />additional non-impervious surfaces, due to water drainage <br />issues on his property. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn was presented by staff as a bench <br />handout, written comment by Mrs. Duhl regarding their <br />concerns regarding drainage. <br /> <br />At Mayor Kysylyczyn's request, staff interpreted their <br />findings regarding drainage in the area, and meeting code, <br />expressing their perspective that the drainage would be <br />contained on Mr. Gregg's lot. <br />
