Council and Community Budget Review Session, Budget Review <br />Continuation of Previous Discussion (con't) <br />Councilmember Kough expressed interest in cost of living <br />adjustment (COLA) wage increases city-wide. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder addressed the proposed <br />reduction in 1 FTE maintenance position (1/2 Public <br />Works and ~ Parks and Recreation). Mayor Kysylyczyn <br />concurred that consideration be given to putting all <br />maintenance duties under one administrative head; <br />preferably Public Works, allowing for better and more <br />uniform coverage; and requested staff to cost-out that <br />option. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn requested additional clarification of <br />where the money came from for the Roseville Area Senior <br />Program. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough sought clarification on the <br />Roseville Visitors Bureau; the city motel tax; and if the <br />Council had any say in fund expenditures. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn sought additional information on the <br />line item budget detail related to memberships and <br />subscriptions; Suburban Rate Authority; reduction in <br />membership dues to the 1-35W Corridor Coalition, noting <br />that Ramsey County had paid their membership dues, <br />allowing city dues to be adjusted and hopefully lowered <br />
