<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 8/11/03 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />reductions in those areas. <br /> <br />Recess Recess <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn recessed the meeting at 8:03 p.m. and <br />reconvened the meeting at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Upon reconvening the meeting, Mayor Kysylyczyn amended <br />the agenda to consider Item X., Ordinances and Resolutions. <br /> <br />x. <br /> <br />Ordinances & Resolutions <br /> <br />B. Final Reading and Enactment of an Ordinance <br />Amending Title Five, Chapter 503 of the City Code <br />Regarding Weapons <br />Schroeder moved, Maschka seconded holding Final <br />Reading and Enactment of Ordinance No. 1291 entitled, <br />"An Ordinance Amending and 503.07, Weapons." <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson referenced changes made to <br />several sections of Code Chapter 503 to bring it into <br />compliance with Minnesota State Statutes. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn acknowledged a Boy Scout in the <br />audience who was interested in this subject as part of his <br />work on his merit badge. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />C. Final Reading and Enactment of an Ordinance <br />Amending Title Five, Chapter 504 of the City Code <br />Regarding Fireworks <br />Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded Final Reading and <br />Enactment of Ordinance No. 1292 entitled, "An Ordinance <br />Repealing Title Five, Chapter 504, Fireworks." <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson acknowledged that all <br />language had been eliminated and Title Five, Chapter 504 <br />was repealed, as all applicable enforcement issues were <br />addressed in Minnesota State Statute. <br /> <br />Ordinances & <br />Resolutions <br /> <br />Ordinance 1291 <br />Amending Title <br />Five, Chapter 503 <br />of the City Code <br />Regarding <br />Weapons <br /> <br />Ordinance 1292 <br />Amending Title <br />Five, Chapter 504 <br />of the City Code <br />Regarding <br />Fireworks <br />
