Reports and Recommendations <br /> <br />A. Consider Changing the City's Residential Recycling <br />Policy and Existing Recycling Contract with Waste <br />Management <br />~vfayor Kysylyczyn and Councilmember Schroeder <br />reviewed the Council packet, seeking to identify the <br />specific contract addendum they preferred to move <br />consideration of action at tonight's meeting. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets attempted to provide the relative <br />document to Councilmember Schroeder; who expressed <br />concern that he was not comfortable moving action on a <br />document he had not had an opportunity to review prior to <br />being provided at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn expressed his disapproval of the <br />document provided by City Manager Beets, and continued <br />his attempt to identify, with City Manager Beets' <br />assistance, the document that would address moving from <br />a two-sort to one-sort method of collection. <br /> <br />After further debate, City Manager Beets determined that <br />the document sought by Mayor Kysylyczyn was part of <br />the Request for Proposals RFP), and had been included in <br />the Council packet as it was referenced in portions of the <br />Waste Management contract. Mr. Beets explained that the <br />Council packet included an Addendum to the current <br />contract as drafted by City Attorney Squires, as well as an <br />Addendum drafted by Waste Management personnel, both <br /> <br />Reports and <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />Consider Changing <br />the City's <br />Residential <br />Recycling Policy <br />and Existing <br />Recycling Contract <br />with Waste <br />Management <br />
