<br />.sevHmE <br />City Council Minutes <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />Monday, September 29, 2003 <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough and Councilmembers Maschka, Schroeder and 6:00 p.m. <br />Klausing met in the City Council Chambers on the above date. Roll Call <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn was attending an out-of-town seminar and not <br />present at the meeting. Acting Mayor Tom Kough presided at the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br /> <br />Roll Call: (Voting Order): Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing and Kough. <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />Acting Mayor Kough called the regular meeting to order at <br />6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone to the Roseville City <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />Acting Mayor Kough called for public comment by members <br />of the audience. <br /> <br />A. Sheila Lotz, 2754 Ramline Avenue <br />Ms. Lotz apologized in advance for the length of her <br />comments; but felt she needed to speak as a concerned <br />citizen. Ms. Lotz stated that she had no political agenda; <br />stated that she was not affiliated with any other agency <br />that would benefit from this system; and disputed past <br />comments and quotes of Mayor Kysylyczyn specifically; <br />and presented her own calculations of anticipated cost <br />increases to taxpayers with the proposed contract revisions <br />with Waste Management and proposed implementation of <br />a single-sort collection system without benefit of a pilot <br />pro gram. <br /> <br />Ms. Lotz spoke in support of the pilot single-sort recycling <br />pilot program as per the current contract with Waste <br />Management, at no additional cost to taxpayers.
