<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 9/29/03 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder reiterated his intent was to <br />ensure that the maximum amount of recyclable materials <br />were recovered, and ultimately that the taxpayers would <br />find the collection system user-friendly and cost-effective. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough concurred with Councilmember <br />Schroeder's comments, but opined that he would prefer to <br />move more slowly in considering a change to the current <br />contract. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing concurred with his perceived <br />intent of Councilmember Schroeder's program outcomes, <br />but questioned Councilmember Schroeder's rationale in <br />being convinced that a single-sort system was a sure <br />outcome following the pilot program, citing the research <br />completed by the Recycling Committee and staff <br />recoryunendations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder reiterated his assurance that a <br />single-sort collection system was a given for Roseville' s <br />future curb-side recycling collection program. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Klausing and Kough. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Review Agenda <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough called for any comments or discussion on <br />the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka requested staff prOVISIon of a <br />location map, and clarified several items regarding Consent <br />Agenda Item 11., B entitled, "Updating the Status of Code <br />Compliance Issues at 185 N. McCarrons Blvd. and a <br />McCarron's' Neighborhood Study." <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Kough requested that discussion be open for <br />Consent Agenda Item 11., A entitled, "Appointing Election <br />Judges for the November 4, 2003 General Election." <br /> <br />Review Agenda <br />
