United Properties Request for the City Council to <br />Approve a Resolution Amending the Comprehensive <br />Plan; to Approve a motion Affirming the Concept for a <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD); to Approve a <br />Motion Adopting a Preliminary Plat; and to Approve a <br />Motion Directing the First Reading of a Rezoning <br />Ordinance, all relating to the Midland Hills <br />Condominium and Townhome Project at 2001 Fulham <br />Street (PF 3471) <br />COll1ll1unity Development Director Dennis Welsch <br />introduced this agenda item, and recognized several <br />audience members who were in attendance to speak. <br /> <br />Mr. Welsch identified Mr. Brian Carey of United <br />Properties, along with staff and support consultants; <br />several neighbors in the audience wishing to speak on the <br />subject; and the City's Planner Thomas Paschke. <br /> <br />9.1 <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Kough seconded, adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10158 entitled, "A Resolution Approving <br />an Alnendlnent to the Comprehensive Plan Map <br />Designation from "LR," Low Density Residential to <br />"MR," Medium Density Residential and From "GC," Golf <br />Course to "HR," High Density Residential for Property <br />located at 2001 Fulham Street (PF 3471);" contingent <br />upon final approvals and a positive review by the <br />Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Con1ll1unity Development Director Dennis Welsch <br />reviewed the area of the redevelopment project and its <br />various components, highlighting loss of existing <br />vegetation and proposed replanting. <br /> <br />Mr. Welsh summarized the various components of the <br />proposed project of 30-unit condominium units; 6 <br />townhome units; underground parking for all units; <br />drainage ponds on the southwest comer and east side of <br />project; and provided sample concept-stage elevations <br /> <br />Land Use <br /> <br />Resolution 10158 <br />United Properties <br />Request for the <br />City Council to <br />Approve a <br />Resolution <br />Amending the <br />Comprehensive <br />Plan; to Approve a <br />motion Affirming <br />the Concept for a <br />Planned Unit <br />Development <br />(PUD); to Approve <br />a IvIotion Adopting <br />a Preliminary Plat; <br />and to Approve a <br />Motion Directing <br />the First Reading of <br />a Rezoning <br />Ordinance, all <br />relating to the <br />Midland Hills <br />Condominium and <br />Townhome Project <br />at 2001 Fulham (PF <br />3471 ) <br />
