Mr. Stuart further opined that there should only be
allowed one vote per person, and that the Council should
ensure his constitutional rights by providing an ordinance
amendment that would allow for a Special Election as
soon as possible. Mr. Stuart concluded his opinions that
he was not in favor of a Primary Election, and did not
support the appointment process.

Tom Kelly, 1162 Autumn Street
Prior to commenting on the Council Vacancy, Mr. Kelly
commended the Public Works Department and the City-
sponsored leaf pick up program, and requested that the
service continue in future years.

Mr. Kelly concurred with the comments of Ms. Yates in
the need for the community to heal from past issues;
encouraged an expedient Primary and Special Election to
ensure that healing and that the process be as cost-efficient
and fair as feasibly possible; and concluded his support for
a "caretaker" appointment until the Special Election.

Muamer Pezerovic, 180 Larpenteur Avenue W
Mr. Pezerovic asked that Councilmembers look at the
early history of the Village of Roseville and its
representative government, and realize the improvements
that have been achieved; opining that a Special Election
would have no perception of impropriety, and that Amy
Ihlan was an obvious appointee, given the election results.

Richard VerHagen, 176 Owasso Boulevard S
Mr. VerHagen opined that he had never seen the word
"appointment" attached to the word "democracy;" and that
encouraged future public policy that your current office be
relinquished if you were running for another office. Mr.
VerHagen made several allegations directed specifically at
Councilmember Klausing related to voting records and
financial support of the Northwest Youth and Family
Services organization; concluding with a comment to
citizens of Roseville to keep their freedom.

Al Sands, 2612 Aldine
