<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 11/24/03 <br />Page 15 <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder spoke in favor of the motion, <br />while expressing concern about including the word <br />"tentative," as the best of the five options. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn spoke in favor of the motion, <br />concurring with the redundancy of language expressed by <br />Councilmember Schroeder. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, without second directing staff to prepare <br />options for an advisory Stakeholder Task Force/Team for <br />City Council review and approval at the December 8,2003 <br />regular City Council meeting; the purpose for which will <br />be to work with the Master Developer to ensure that the <br />City's goals and objectives for the Twin Lakes Master <br />Plan are realized. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka recoll1111ended that the City <br />Council seek the consulting expertise of Mr. John <br />Shardlow to address various Council concerns. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder noted the need to have the right <br />people on the Advisory team, including community <br />representatives, neighbors, partners, property owners and <br />neighbors. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough concurred with Councilmell1ber <br />Schroeder's comments. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn challenged staff to provide <br />recommendations to the City Council to negate the past <br />practice of political appointees, seeking to balance citizen <br />input. <br /> <br />Counciln1ember Maschka noted that his suggestion to seek <br />assistance from Mr. Shardlow would ensure that balanced <br />
