<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 03/27/06 <br />Minutes - Page 19 <br /> <br />Councilmember Pust didn't consider the proposed amendment as <br />a friendly amendment, opining that if the Council sought <br />revisions in the RFP's it could be done through the contract <br />negotiation phase. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing recommended that, in consideration of Open <br />Meeting Laws, staff solicit RFP's with the City Manager <br />providing additional information through his City Manager's <br />report; rather than as had been suggested for Councilmembers to <br />review the specifics of the RFP on-line and individually making <br />recommendations to the staff. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets concurred with Mayor Klausing that staff <br />would have difficulty achieving consensus for RFP provisions <br />and language if Councibnembers didn't concur on specifics. <br /> <br />Roll Call [Motion to Amend] <br />Ayes: Ihlan and Kough. <br />Nays: Maschka, Pust and Klausing. <br /> <br />Roll Call [Original Motion] <br />Ayes: Maschka; Pust; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka, as Council Liaison to the HRA, <br />advised that he would work with Finance Director Miller to <br />follow up with the HRA at their next meeting to seek a formal <br />funding request of the HRA. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Consider Councilmember-Initiated Agenda Items <br />Mayor Klausing reviewed previous recommendations at the <br />March 20, 2006 Council Study Session; and subsequent Council <br />discussion related to Council-Initiated Agenda items.
