Gale Pederson, 929 W Roselawn <br />Ms. Pederson provided an invitation to the City Council <br />and community to attend an upcoming "Roseville <br />Community Spring Fling Health Fair," highlighting health <br />and safety, on May 6, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at <br />Twin Lakes Medical Center, 1835 County Road C West. <br />Ms. Pederson noted that the event was co-sponsored by <br />Twin Lakes Medical Center and Rosedale Medical Center; <br />and would have activities and events for the entire family. <br /> <br />B. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn opined that the City Council needed to <br />provide leadership for the community and oversight of the <br />City Manager and disciplinary action if warranted, as <br />related to recent alcohol non-compliance issues and <br />subsequent staff action related to the non-compliance of <br />several businesses. ~1r. Kysylyczyn further requested that <br />City Manager Neal Beets release a report to the public on <br />the reason for his actions following the Police Department <br />investigation of non-compliance issues. <br /> <br />2. Communications Communications <br />Mayor Klausing referred Councilmembers to the AprilS, 2006 <br />response from the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />(MnDOT), Metropolitan Division, to his March 15, 2006 letter <br />discussing the Oakcrest Avenue median opening and MnDOT's <br />potential reconsideration to keep the crossing open. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough noted that he and Councilmember Ihlan <br />would be continuing discussions with MnDOT, and would be <br />meeting on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the <br />MnDOT's Waters Edge facility, 1500 W County Road B-2 in <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Fire Department Report on Responding to Accidents with <br />Injuries <br />Mayor Klausing noted that, on August 22, 2005, the City <br />Council authorized a six-month trial period for the Fire <br />Department to respond to reported injury accidents, with a <br />subsequent report of that six-month trial to be presented to the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />Fire Department <br />Report on <br />Responding to <br />Accidents with <br />Inj uries <br />
