<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 04/24/06 <br />Minutes - Page 2 <br /> <br />City Attorney advised that there should be no problem in his <br />office accommodating the May 8, 2006 schedule. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan requested that Consent Agenda Items 3.f, <br />m, and n be removed for discussion, respectively entitled, <br />"Approve Amendments to the 2005 Budget to Conform with <br />Council Spending Decisions;" "Approve Goodmanson Request <br />to Reduce All Driveway Permit Fees;" and Adopt Resolutions <br />Approving Applications for Three Twin Lakes Contamination <br />Clean-Up Grants [Department of Employment and Economic <br />Development (DEED) Contamination Cleanup Grant; <br />Metropolitan Council Tax Base Revitalization Account Grant; <br />and Ramsey County Environmental Response Action Fund.]" <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough requested removal of Consent Agenda <br />Item 3.p entitled, "Approve the Appointment of James R. Receive Public Comment about City Issues Receive Public <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the Comment about <br />audience on any non-agenda items. Douglas Root, 2468 N Ramline Avenue <br />Mr. Root provided a public invitation to citizens, staff and <br />the City Council for a Roseville Citizen's League- <br />sponsored informational forum on May 4, 2006 at 7 :00 <br />p.m. at the Guidant John Rose OVAL in the Fireside <br />Room. Mr. Root noted that Scott M. Kelley, of the League <br />of Minnesota Cities, would speak on the Statutory B form <br />of municipal government; with a question and answer time <br />to follow. <br /> <br />B. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn addressed comments of the previous <br />speaker, opining that Mr. Goedeke had requested that City <br />Manager Beets find a speaker to address this topic. <br /> <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn spoke to the alcohol penalty waiving <br />issues; noted the amount of support he had received for <br />pursuing the issue; and criticized the City Council for their <br />"lack of leadership," in providing supervision and <br />
