<br />~ <br /> <br />City Council Minutes <br />Special Regular Meeting of January 7, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following l11embers present 6:04 p.m. <br />(voting order): Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, I(lausing and I(ysylyczyn. Roll Call <br />Absent: none. <br /> <br />A. Communications and Public Comment <br /> <br />A-I Kough announced a meeting next Tuesday, January 15, 2002, in <br />Austin, Minnesota with Kermit Mahan regarding affordable <br />housing. Mayor I(ysylyczyn, Council Menlber Kough, and staff will <br />depart Roseville at 8:00-8:30 a.m. <br /> <br />A-2 I(ysylyczyn thanked Chief Justice Blatz and Senator Mark Dayton <br />for attending the Swearing-In Ceremony on January 2, 2002. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn acknowledged former Mounds View Mayor Dan <br />Coughlin and Washington County Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />B-1 I(ysylyczyn moved, Klausing seconded, that the minutes of the <br />nleeting of December 17, 2001, be approved as anlended. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Maschka, I(lausing and I(ysylyczyn. Nays: none. Abstain: <br />Schroeder and I(ough, due to the fact they were not nlembers of the <br />Council on December 17, 2001. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, that Items C-l through C- 7 be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, I(lausing <br />and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br /> <br />C-l <br /> <br />I(lausing moved, Maschka seconded, to authorize the City Manager <br />to send letters requesting support for: Volunteer Recognition <br />Banquet, Winterfest, Spring Celebration, Rose of Many Colors Art <br />Series, Rosefest, Soap Box Derby, Summer Concert Series, <br />Halloween Event, Holiday Event, and the New Year's Eve Event. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn.
