<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 05/08/06 <br />Minutes - Page 13 <br /> <br />those that would be TIF-related expenses. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka; and Klausing. <br />Nays: Ihlan and Kough. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br /> <br />5.a <br /> <br />Proclamation Honoring AI Kehr's Distinguished <br />Service to the City of Roseville <br />Mayor Klausing recognized the loss of several former <br />mayors and city council members in recent months, as the <br />City's loss. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets read the proclamation, honoring Mr. <br />Kehr's distinguished service and dedication to the City of <br />Roseville, the region and world through his work; <br />specifically highlighting funds raised for the Lion's <br />Pavilion in Central Park; collection of in excess of 5,000 <br />pairs of eye glasses for an Optical Mission to the <br />Honduras; and other generous work during his lifetime. <br /> <br />Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, proclamation honoring Alvin <br />Kehr, on behalf of the Roseville City Council and citizens, <br />extending to the Kehr Family their deepest sympathy and <br />great appreciation for the generosity that Al Kehr has <br />shown to the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough provided his personal comments <br />and appreciation for Mr. Kehr. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing noted the proclamation language, " <br />remembering.. .Mr. Kehr for his feisty personality and <br />good sense of humor," as being most appropriate; and also <br />recognized the contributions ofMr. Kehr's wife, Margaret. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Ihlan; Kough and Klausing. <br /> <br />Recognitions, <br />Donations, <br />Communications <br /> <br />Proclamation <br />Honoring <br />Al Kehr <br />
