The creation of any commission or <br />32board not established by this code shall be by resolution of the Council and the resolution shall <br />33set forth the purpose and duties of the commission or board. <br />34 <br />Purpose <br />35 <br />36 <br />37Commissions or boards are established to provide a method for citizen input on topics of interest. <br />38A commission or board is advisory to the full Council. No commission or board shall have <br />39decision-making power. <br />40 <br />Membership <br />41 <br />42 <br />43Unless otherwise established by specific language in the code related to a specific commission or <br />44board, or by state statute, the terms of this section shall apply. <br />45 <br /> <br />
