275C. Maintain an interest in and an understanding of the city school system and promote the <br />276greatest possible utilization of school and municipal recreation programs. <br />277D. Endeavor to secure a full and complete understanding of the city's needs and desires for <br />278parks and recreational facilities and be sensitive to the acceptance within the community of <br />279the current program. <br />280E. Convey to the City Council their understanding of the community's sentiment regarding <br />281recreation and parks and to submit recommendations to the City Council on parks and <br />282recreation programs and policy. <br />283F. Review conditions and adequacy of city park property. <br />284G. Provide hearings to groups or individuals, upon request, regarding parks and recreation <br />285matters. <br />286H. Keep informed and consider all financial aspects pertaining to parks and recreation. <br />287I. Consider proper names for city park property. <br />288J. Propose regulations for control of city park property to the City Council. <br />289K. Advise and assist architectural engineers on preparation of specific plans prior to the <br />290presentation to the City Council for formal approval. <br />291L. Represent the city at community functions where appropriate and approved by the City <br />292Council. <br />293M. Represent the city at meetings with other community, county or state boards of similar <br />294nature where appropriate and approved by the City Council. <br />295N. Perform other duties and functions or conduct studies and investigations as specifically <br />296directed or delegated by the City Council. (Ord. 1038, 6-27-1988) <br />297O.
