Consider Revising Alcohol Ordinance Alcohol Ordinance <br />J aInnik described problems with the draft ordinance. He <br />also described the seven issues he sought to address in <br />the draft ordinance. Kysylyczyn sought input froln Steve <br />Burwell of Fairview Wine & S\p:irits, 2579 N Fairview <br />A venue. He has passed all conlpliance checks. <br />Steve Burwell spoke about accountability and level <br />playing field, especially with respect to corporate <br />licenses. <br />Maschka asked what probleln we are trying to solve, and <br />commented on being overly burdensolne to slnall <br />businesses. Maschka suggested prosecuting persons <br />using false identification cards. <br />Kough conllnented about licensees being responsible for <br />their enlployees. <br />Schroeder noted an error in the draft. <br />Maschka conlnlented on use of a hearing officer. <br />Kysylyczyn asked about settingth~day of suspension. <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn Inoved, Kough seconded, to table <br />consideration of revising the Alcohol Ordinance to a <br />future City Council nleeting.
