<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 06/12/06 <br />Minutes - Page 20 <br /> <br />what had been previously applied for by Mr. Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka was amenable to interviewing Mr. <br />Debenedet. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan spoke in support of interviewing Mr. <br />Debenedet; noting that she would rely on the previous interviews <br />of the other candidates for past vacancies <br /> <br />City Manager Beets noted that the City Council was scheduled to <br />meet jointly with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br />(HRA) at 6:00 p.m. on June 20, 2006; prior to the Council Study <br />Session. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to arrange for an interview with only Mr. <br />Debenedet prior to the 6:00 p.m. meeting on June 20, 2006. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Councilmember-Initiated Items from the City Council <br />Meeting of May 22, 2006 <br /> <br />11.a <br /> <br />Request of Councilmember Ihlan: City practices and <br />policy for forwarding e-mails to third parties; and <br />who determines the relevance of when information is <br />included in a Council packet <br />Councilmember Ihlan presented a series of questions, as <br />outlined in a Memo dated June 5, 2006 entitled, "Policy <br />Issues Re: E-Mails Addressed to Council Members and <br />Inclusion of Materials in On-Line Council Packet." <br /> <br />Staff responded as requested by Mayor Klausing <br />regarding current practice; and noted that no existing <br />written policy was available.
