What is your view of the role of this Commission/ Board?: To review employment practices of the Police Department, to ensure they are fair and reasonable as authorized by state statute. To objectively monitor and make determinations concerning employment practices as opposed to advocating for either police personnel or management. To be an unbiased practitioner ensuring the best possible employment practices are achieved meeting the departments needs, the cities requirements and the states laws.
