<br />~ <br />City Council Minutes <br />Work Session - Regular Meeting <br />April 15, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members 5:30 p.m. <br />present (voting order): Klausing, Kough, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. Roll Call <br />Absent: Maschka (family commitments) <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />5 :30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. Review of Regular Meeting Agenda 5:30 - 5:3 p.m. <br />No Council Member had any questions about the regular Regular Meeting <br />agenda. Agenda Review <br /> <br />The Mayor then went to Item II.B. <br /> <br />II. Additional Staff Presentations <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Receive Odd/Even Year Election Task Force Report <br />for Council Discussion <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />North Metro I-35W Corridor Coalition Presentation <br />Joseph Strauss and Bob Benke, consultants from Strau$ <br />Management, reviewed the Coalition's 2001 <br />accomplishments and goals for 2002-2006. Among <br />other subj ects, they touched upon the innovative <br />McKnight Foundation grant proposal, their traffic <br />modeling work, and the extensive demographic data <br />supporting their Corridor "build-out study." Kough <br />asked about projects actually started and finished in the <br />Corridor and about priorities. Kysylyczyn noted three <br />positive Coalition activities: (i) the Housing Resource <br />Center, (ii) transportation traffic modeling, and (iii) <br />workplace studies. Schroeder appreciated the efforts of <br />Strauss Management and the Coalition to relieve, or not <br />worsen, traffic congestion. <br /> <br />The Mayor then went to Item II.
