Hansen elaborated upon Ramsey County's <br />Collection Study. He referenced the County's website <br />for information. He discussed a large number of possible <br />frameworks for organizing garbage collection in Ramsey <br />County. He estimated a one to two-year experiment with <br />voluntary efforts at working with private haulers. <br /> <br />Kough asked about illegal dumping. <br />Kysylyczyn asked about disposal of electronic products. <br />Schroeder noted a private hauler who recycled <br />electronics. <br />Kysylyczyn asked the Council to discuss whether they <br />should take a position on Ramsey County's collection <br />study, and if so, what position. Kough asked that a <br />Council Member attend the meeting of the Ramsey <br />County Commissioners on April 25. The Mayor asked <br />Kough and Beets to attend. <br /> <br />III. Public Comment <br />1) Dick Houck, resident, urged the Council to take a <br />position on private hauling. Dick Houck, resident, also <br />urged the Council to take a position on sexually <br />oriented businesses. He urged a moratorium. J amnik <br />indicated that he could bring a moratorium ordinance to <br />the Council's April 22, 2002 Council meeting.
