<br />City Council Minutes - 05/13/02 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />ski jump on Lake Owasso for 2002. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Schroeder, Maschka, Klausing, Kough and <br />Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br /> <br />3. Approval of an Agreement with Ramsey <br />County to Provide Supplemental Water Patrol <br />Services at Lake Owasso <br />Beets presented. Klausing asked whether Shoreview <br />pays for supplemental water patrol services on Lake <br />Owasso. Beets indicated he would find that <br />information for next year's consideration of this <br />request. <br />Schroeder n10ved, Kough seconded, to approve the <br />agreement with Ramsey County for supplemental law <br />enforcen1ent services on Lake Owasso at a cost not to <br />exceed $1,750 to be funded from the 2002 Lake <br />Patrol Budget, first, and then the City's Contingency <br />Fund; and further authorizing the Mayor and City <br />Manager to sign the said agreement upon final review <br />of the City Attorney. Roll Call, Ayes: Schroeder, <br />Maschka, IZlausing, Kough and Kysylyczyn. Nays: <br />none. <br /> <br />IV. Land Use <br /> <br />V. <br /> <br />Reports & Recommendations <br />A. Consider Approving Roseville Historical Society <br />Heritage Trail Sign at Various Locations <br />Michael Wolf, resident and president of the Roseville <br />Historical Society, displayed and explained the mock-up <br />of the new proposed signs. The Heritage Trail began in <br />1976, as a by-product of the National Bi-Centennial <br />Celebration. <br />Klausing asked for more information about the number <br />of historical si tes and where residents can get <br />information about the Trail. <br />Kough asked whether it was a driving or pedestrian tour. <br />Kysylyczyn asked about sign maintenance and <br />installation costs. <br />Kysylyczyn n10ved, Kough seconded, to authorize the <br />Roseville Historical Society to proceed to install signage <br />along the Heritage Trail as described in the report.
