<br />~SEVHmE <br />City Council Minutes <br />Work Session - Regular Meeting <br />June 10, 2002 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members 5:34 p.m. <br />present: (voting order): Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka and Roll Call <br />Kysylyczyn. Absent: none. <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Review of Regular Meeting Agenda <br />There was no review of the regular meeting agenda. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Additional Staff Presentations <br />A. End-of-Session State Legislative Report from State <br />Senator John Marty and State Representatives <br />Mindy Greiling, Carl Jacobson, and Mary Jo <br />McGuire <br />Kysylyczyn welcomed Roseville's state legislative <br />delegation. Each state legislator described his and her <br />new, legislative district boundaries. <br /> <br />Beets outlined state transportation issues affecting <br />Roseville and asked for the delegation's perspective on a <br />possible Roseville sales tax to support a regional <br />community center. <br /> <br />Each delegation member regretted the lack of adequate <br />transportation funding and indicated that state legislative <br />approval for a Roseville sales tax was unlikely. <br /> <br />Greiling thanked Kough for his recent referral of <br />complaints about MnDOT's failure to mow their <br />property . <br /> <br />Kysylyczyn asked the delegation about the prospects in <br />the state legislature for Local Government Aid. <br /> <br />Greiling supported a needs-based system, rather than the <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br />Agenda Review <br /> <br />State Legislative <br />Report <br />
