Mr. Paschke noted that the <br />property line would move from its current location toward <br />the existing home and to the west, allowing more room for <br />the new home to be constructed. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, approved the request <br />of Brad Peterson for a MINOR SUBDIVISION - <br />RECOMBINATION at 1907 Gluek Lane. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka; Pust; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />6.b <br /> <br />Approve the Request of MSP Commercial for a <br />Preliminary Plat at 2700 Snelling Avenue (PF 3776) <br />(former Consent Item 5.k) <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Planner Thomas <br />Paschke, briefly reviewed the request of MSP <br />Commercial, in conjunction with JL T Roseville Corporate <br />Center LLC, for approval of a PRELIMINARY PLAT to <br />divide an existing 14.85 acre lot into two legal, <br />conforming commercial lots. Mr. Paschke noted that it <br />was standard for Preliminary and Final approval, if <br />recommended by unanimous approval by the Planning <br />Commission, to be considered under one action by the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan referenced the draft Planning <br />Commission meeting minutes of July 12, 2006 addressing <br />various staff comments and concerns voiced by the public <br />regarding screening and landscaping of the berm. <br />Councilmember Ihlan suggested, if there were no <br />objection from Councilmembers, to include as a condition <br />of the plat approval, landscaping provisions. <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson affirmed that it would be <br />appropriate for Councilmembers to require such changes <br />or revisions as deemed necessary for the health, safety, <br />and general welfare and convenience of the City. <br /> <br />MSP Commercial <br />Preliminary Plat <br />2700 Snelling <br />(PF 3776) <br />
