<br />ORDINANCE 1332 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY MAINTENANCE; AMENDING <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BY ADOPTING <br />WITHIN TITLE 9, SECTION 906 THE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY <br />MAINTENANCE CODE, 2003 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO. <br /> <br />The City Council ofthe City of Roseville does ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: Title 9, Section 906 of the City of Roseville City Code is hereby named <br />"Building Maintenance and Preservation" and amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 906.01. Adoption. <br /> <br />There is hereby adopted by reference, the code referred to as the International Property <br />Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., <br />(ICe) for the establishment of minimum acceptable standards for the maintenance of <br />existing buildings, structures, premises and facilities to protect health, safety and general <br />welfare. Each and all of the standards, regulations and requirements, save and except <br />such portions as are hereinafter deleted, amended or modified, as set about and specified <br />in the International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, are hereby adopted, <br />referred to, incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set out at length herein. <br /> <br />Not less than one copy of the said copyrighted International Property Maintenance Code, <br />2003 edition, shall be on file in the office of the City Manager and open for public <br />inspection at all times. <br /> <br />Not less than one City of Roseville revised and codified version (as authorized by the <br />ICe) of the said copyrighted International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 <br />edition, shall be on file in the office ofthe City Manager and in the Community <br />Development Department and open for public inspection at all times. <br /> <br />Section 906.02. Conflicts and Interpretation. <br /> <br />In the event any provision of this article and any provision of the International Property <br />Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, conflicts with or is inconsistent in any manner with any <br />section of the Roseville City Code or other codes adopted by reference therein, or parts <br />thereof, the provisions of this article and the International Property Maintenance Code, <br />2003 edition, shall supersede and take precedence over such portion or portions in <br />conflict or inconsistent therewith. <br /> <br />1 <br />
