<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 08/28/06 <br />Minutes - Page 19 <br /> <br />comply and adhere to their own City Ordinance regarding the <br />body to hear public comment on specific proposals. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing and Councilmember Pust advocated that the <br />City Attorney be provided sufficient time to advise the City <br />Council on proper procedure. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, tabling action of the <br />request for PF 3676 to the September II, 2006 regular City <br />Council meeting. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Pust; Maschka; Kough; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Recess Recess <br />Mayor Klausing recessed the meeting at approximately 8: 16 p.m. <br />and reconvened at 8:29 p.m. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Consider the Request of Roseville Chrysler (Jerry <br />Golinvaux) for a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br />Construction of a 2,500 square foot Showroom Addition, at <br />2805 Highway 35W (PF 3779) <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke reviewed the request of Jerry <br />Golinvaux of Roseville Chrysler for a Conditional Use Permit <br />(CUP) to construct a 2,680 square foot showroom addition onto <br />the existing structure. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke advised that staff and the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval (6/0 vote) of the request, subject to ten <br />conditions, as amended and highlighted in the staff report. <br /> <br />Discussion included similarities of this project and the recent <br />Walser Pontiac/Jeep request; and differences in CUP <br />requirements and redevelopment of the Walser parcel, while <br />treating both applicants consistently as per specific code <br />applications. <br /> <br />Additional discussion included storm water management plan <br />requirements as conditioned; setback requirements as modified <br />by the Planning Commission; requirements needing to be met by <br />the applicant prior to issuance of a Building Permit; and islands <br /> <br />Resolution 10425 <br />Roseville Chrysler <br />(Jerry Golinvaux) <br />CUP to allow <br />Construction of a <br />2,500 square foot <br />Showroom <br />Addition, <br />2805 Highway 35W <br />(PF 3779) <br />
