Darwin Lindahl, Architect for the applicant (4180 W Broadway, Mpls.) and Jerry Golinvaux, applicant and property owner were both present. Mr. Lindahl advised that the storm water plan had been submitted to the Rice Creek Watershed District, but was determined to be too small for them to require a permit. Mr. Lindahl further advised that the applicant was willing to work with City Engineering and Planning staff to achieve reduction in present runoff rates. Mr. Golinvaux addressed the concrete curbing condition, his preferences for a ten foot grass area on the Walser site and abutting his property's asphalt area as a more natural approach to drainage. Mr. Golinvaux advised that he would work with staff and whatever requirements or conditions they preferred, noting that adding the concrete curbing would add an additional $35,000 to the cost of the project. Councilmember Pust noted that the applicant would be required to accommodate runoff from their own site, rather than relying on the neighboring property to accommodate storm water runoff. Mr. Paschke advised that the storm water management plan would address those issues. [8.1] Maschka moved, Kough seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10425 entitled, "A Resolution Approving a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in Accordance with Sections 1005.015 and 1013.01 of the Roseville City Code, for Roseville Chrysler, 2805 Highway 35 (PF 3779)."
