Elder Abuse - Are You Afraid To Report� <br />Reporting or telling someone about suspected abuse may cause you anxiety. <br />You may fear not getting proper attention, worry that you rnay be asked to move <br />or that respectful staff may be punished. Keep in mind that it's better to talk to <br />someone rather than keeping this information to yourself because change can <br />only happen once the in�ormation is out in the open. Talk to a staff person or <br />someone outside of the home who you trust. <br />You have the righf #o be free from abuse and neglect. You have the right to <br />express concerns about your care without fear of discrirnination or retaiiation. <br />You have the right to ha�e your complaints dealt with fairly and promptiy. <br />These rights are protected by state and federal law. <br />We're Here To Stand UP For You - To Stand With You - <br />And To Help You! <br />Our office supports you in living in a home where residents and staff are <br />respec�fully treated.
