<br />City Council Regular Meeting -10/09/06 <br />Minutes - Page 29 <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing thanked Councilmember Kough for his <br />representation. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Councilmember-Initiated Items from the Council Meeting of <br />September 25, 2006 or Previous Meetings <br /> <br />12.a <br /> <br />Request of Councilmember Kough: Consider parking <br />Restrictions on City Streets to Limit the Duration to no <br />more than 48 hours. <br />Councilmember Kough requested Council discussion <br />regarding abuses for on-street parking in Roseville, <br />opining that it sets a bad example for the entire City; and <br />sought ways to correct the problem. <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Miller responded to Mayor <br />Klausing's comment that the issue had previously been <br />referred to the PWET, noting that the topic comes up <br />about every six months, and no changes are made. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka advised that Little Canada had <br />recently enacted a winter overnight parking ban from 2:00 <br />- 6:00 am. <br /> <br />Mr. Schwartz noted that some time ago, the City had an <br />overnight parking restriction. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pust requested that staff provide a copy of <br />that ordinance for information during discussion of the <br />issue; as well as the previous staff memo outlining various <br />parking issues and staff recommendations. <br /> <br />13.
