<br />City Council Regular Meeting -10/09/06 <br />Minutes - Page 28 <br /> <br />estimates in light of rising energy prices. <br /> <br />Mr. Schwartz noted, at Councilmember Kough's prompting, the <br />upcoming hearing on October 24, 2006 at the Public Works, <br />Environment and Transportation Commission meeting (PWET) <br />for the James Addition, with three alternatives to be presented to <br />gain additional input from the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pust thanked Mr. Schwartz for the improvements <br />made in the temporary crossing at Lexington and Hamline <br />accessing County Road C during the construction process. <br /> <br />Mr. Schwartz noted ongoing complaints and back-ups during rush <br />hour traffic. Mr. Schwartz anticipated completion of the project <br />within the next week from Victoria to Lexington; however, noted <br />that the traffic signals would be another month out, with <br />continuation of the four-way stop signs in the interim. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Pust seconded, approval of the 2007 Pavement <br />Management Project as presented in the staff report dated October <br />9, 2006; and adoption of Resolution No. 10441 entitled, <br />"Resolution Approving 2007 PMP Neighborhoods and Ordering <br />Preparation of Feasibility Reports on Improvements fro <br />Neighborhood 10." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough, Maschka; Ihlan; Pust and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Consider Setting a Special Meeting for October 16, 2006 to <br />Interview HRA Applicants <br />It was Council consensus that a Special Council meeting be <br />scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2006 at 4:45 p.m., and staff <br />was so directed to post such meeting, for the purpose of HRA <br />vacancy interviews. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough advised that he would be unavailable for a <br />portion of that evening, as he was representing the City of <br />Roseville at the Veterans' Hospital at a ceremony for Iraqi <br />veterans. <br /> <br />Set a Special <br />Meeting for <br />October 16, 2006 <br />Interview HRA <br />Applicants <br />
