<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 10/09/06 <br />Minutes - Page 9 <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Pust seconded, approval of the following <br />claims and payments as presented, and scheduled for <br />reimbursement by Rottlund Homes: <br /> <br />ACH Payments I <br />Total <br /> <br />$400.00 I <br />$400.00 <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka; Pust and Klausing. <br />Nays: Kough and Ihlan. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br /> <br />5.a <br /> <br />Recognition of Hubert & Julianne Thibodeau for their <br />third donation to the Roseville Police Department <br />Police Chief Carol Sletner introduced Mr. & Mrs. <br />Thibodeau to the public and City Council; and announced <br />their donation for non-lethal personal protection weapons for <br />all sworn department personnel. Chief Sletner publicly <br />thanked the Thibodeau's for their generosity and requested <br />City Council acceptance of their generous gift. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of a donation <br />from the Thibodeau family, to cover law enforcement <br />equipment not funded in the Department's operating budget. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing, on behalf of the community, Police <br />Department and City staff, and the City Council, thanked the <br />Thibodeau's for their generosity. <br /> <br />Hubert Thibodeau <br />Mr. Thibodeau made a short statement regarding how <br />fortunate it was that he and Mrs. Thibodeau were able to <br />fund needed off-budget items for the Police Department, <br />done to show their ongoing support for the Department, and <br />because they were impressed with the Department's <br />professionalism and the dedication of department personnel. <br />Mr. Thibodeau cautioned that the Police Department would <br /> <br />Recognitions, <br />Donations, <br />Communications <br /> <br />Recognition of <br />Hubert & Julianne <br />Thibodeau <br />Donation to the <br />Roseville Police <br />Department <br />
