NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that: 1. The City of Roseville hereby approves the Grant Applications submitted to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the Metropolitan Council, and/or Ramsey County on November I, 2006 by the City of Roseville for the former Mounds View school district site. 2. For purposes of the Grant Applications, the City of Roseville will act as the legal sponsor for the Project as described in the Grant Applications to be submitted on November 1, 2006, and that Craig Klausing, as Mayor of the City of Roseville, is hereby authorized to submit the Grant Applications to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the Metropolitan Council, and Ramsey County for funding of the Project on behalf of the City of Roseville. 3. Upon approval of one or more of the Grant Applications by the State and/or Metropolitan Council and/or Ramsey County, the City of Roseville may enter into agreements with the State of Minnesota and/or Metropolitan Council and/or Ramsey Connty for the Project described in the Grant Applications. 4. The City of Roseville certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in all contract agreements executed in connection with funds obtained through the Grant Applications. 5. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City of Roseville are hereby auth0l1zed and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Roseville such agreements and other documents as are necessary to implement the Project described in the Grant Applications.
