<br />City Council Minutes 07/29/02 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />Lobbyist as to amount of disruptive behavior allowed in <br />that assembly. Mr. Jamnik responded as to the behavior <br />acceptable prior to Capitol Security removing those <br />disruptions. <br /> <br />Mr. Machyowsky continued further comments during the <br />course of the Public Comment portion of the meeting, <br /> <br />E. Marilyn Rose-Sanft, 2500 Fernwood Street <br />Ms. Sanft spoke to her opinion as to the inappropriate <br />behavior ofMr. Machyowsky in holding up signs with <br />derogatory comments regarding a specific elected <br />official, as well as the signs blocking the view of the <br />audience. Ms. Sanft also addressed a previous phone <br />call between the Mayor and her son regarding his <br />intentions regarding her specific disruptive behavior. <br /> <br />Mr. Lambert made related comments regarding the <br />concerns of residents currently addressing the Council. <br /> <br />Round table discussions continued regarding the comfort <br />level of the audience; majority votes; civil liberties <br />related to free speech and demonstrations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough expressed his preference for <br />professional and constructive meetings, with public <br />opinion expressed and actions taken, all within a limited <br />amount of time available. Councilmember Kough <br />expressed his desire that the Council meetings would <br />become more amiable, allowing for respect of each other <br />and differing opinions. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />Recess to Re2ular Meetin2 <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn recessed the Work Session at 7:32 p.m. <br /> <br />7 :32 p.m. <br />
