<br />City Council Minutes - 07/29/02 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting 7:47 p.m. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn reconvened and called to order the regular <br />meeting of the Roseville City Council at 7:47 p.m., with all <br />members present, with the exception of Councilmember <br />Klausing who was on vacation. <br /> <br />I. Communication <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn requested that Matt Carlson and Brandon <br />Schuster, Boy Scouts working toward their citizenship and <br />community merit badges, come to the podium to introduce <br />themselves and be recognized. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough requested that the Police Department <br />investigate and bring forth recommendations regarding traffic <br />speed in the area of3000 Hamline Avenue North and a <br />potential need for signage alerting drivers that children were <br />present. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough also requested that the Public Works <br />Department investigate and bring forth recommendations <br />regarding the continuing problem of flooding near the HarMar <br />Mall during heavy rains, and whether it was a maintenance or <br />reconstruction issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn reviewed revisions to the regular agenda, <br />related to relocation of a Consent Agenda to discussion under <br />Land Use. <br /> <br />II. Reco2nitions <br /> <br />A. General Donations to the City of Roseville Donations <br />Parks and Recreation Director Brokke provided a list of <br />recent donations to the City of Roseville, and <br />recommended City Council recognition and acceptance. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, to authorize <br />acceptance of ten (10) donations as follows: <br />
