Attachment F <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />1 <br />st <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21 day of May 2012 at 6:00 p.m. <br />2 <br />The following Members were present: _____________; <br />3 <br />and _________ were absent. <br />4 <br />Council Member _________ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />5 <br />RESOLUTION NO. _______ <br />6 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING OUTDOOR STORAGE OF FLEET VEHICLES AS A <br />7 <br />CONDITIONAL USE AT 2507 WALNUT STREET (PF12-006) <br />8 <br />WHEREAS, Minnehaha Transportation, Inc. has applied for approval of the proposed <br />9 <br />conditional use in conjunction with Dedicated Logistics, Inc., owner of the property at 2507 <br />10 <br />Walnut Street, which is legally described as: <br />11 <br />PIN: 08-29-23-23-0008 <br />12 <br />See Exhibit A <br />13 <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />14 <br />proposed on May 2, 2012, voting 6-0 to recommend approval of the use based <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />15 <br />on the comments and findings of the staff report prepared for said public hearing; and <br />16 <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the proposed <br />17 <br /> will not result in adverse impacts to the surrounding properties based on the <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />18 <br />following findings: <br />19 <br />a. <br />While outdoor storage as proposed might not advance the goals of the <br />20 <br />Comprehensive Plan aside from facilitating continued investment in an industrial <br />21 <br />property, it does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan; <br />22 <br />b. <br />The proposed use is not in conflict with a Regulating Map or other adopted plan <br />23 <br />because no such plans apply to the area surrounding the property; <br />24 <br />c. <br />The proposed use is not in conflict with City Code requirements since permits <br />25 <br />will not be issued if the plans fail to meet all of the relevant requirements and, <br />26 <br />moreover, the conditional use approval can be rescinded if the use or the property <br />27 <br />fails at any time to comply with all applicable Code requirements or conditions of <br />28 <br />the approval; <br />29 <br />d. <br />The property has been used as a legal, nonconforming semi-trailer-leasing facility <br />30 <br />for many years, and the conforming outdoor storage of fleet vehicles or trailers is <br />31 <br />unlikely to intensify any practical impacts on parks, streets, or public <br />32 <br />infrastructure; <br />33 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
