Roll Call <br /> <br />Roll Call: (Voting Order): Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, Maschka, and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Call to Order Call to Order <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called the meeting to order at 5 :32 p.n1. and <br />welcomed everyone to the Roseville City Council meeting. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called for public COl11JTIent by members of <br />the audience. <br /> <br />Noone wished to speak. <br /> <br />Public <br />Comment <br /> <br />II. Review Agenda Review <br />Consent Agenda Mayor Kysylyczyn called for any discussion Agenda <br />regarding the Consent Agenda. No comments. <br /> <br />III. Presentations <br /> <br />National League of Cities Report, Salt Lake City, Utah, <br />Report by Councilmember Maschka <br />Councilmember Maschka spoke about sessions dealing <br />with Homeland Security, stating that the trend was toward <br />"community vulnerability assessments." Councilmember <br />Maschka urged staff attendance at future seminars, <br />specifically noting that cities are the "front line" in <br />homeland defense. He also noted there are lots of details <br />that are important to manage in such emergencies, <br />including the ability of residents to obtain prescription <br />medicines. He also talked about the vulnerability of <br />computer databases to terrorist attacks.
