<br />Regular City Council Minutes -12/09/02 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn explained his rationale for voting <br />against this motion, stating his belief that there's <br />credibility in consistency; and remained of the opinion that <br />this $2 Million project had been a waste of taxpayer <br />monIes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Klausing stated that, while the project <br />was certainly not up to expected standards, he would vote <br />in favor of the motion, in keeping with his responsibility to <br />avoid putting the City in a position for future litigation <br />issues, as confirmed by City Attorney Anderson. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough and Schroeder concurred with <br />Councilmember Klausing. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roli Cali <br />Klausing, Kough, Schroeder and Maschka. <br />Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />C. Approving Solid Waste Removal Contract for City <br />Facilities <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn asked if inclusion of clean up day was <br />discussed as part of the proposed contract. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Schwartz responded that the clean <br />up day would be considered separately due to a number of <br />factors, and that it would be in the City's best interest to <br />seek bids separately. <br /> <br />Schroeder moved, Klausing seconded, award of the bid for <br />waste removal from City of Roseville public facilities for <br />the period January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2004, to <br />Superior Services in the bid amount of $19,983.33 and <br />$8.00 per cubic yard for waste removal in excess of the <br />amount described in the specifications. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, Maschka and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Approving Solid <br />Waste Removal <br />Contract for <br />City Facilities <br />
