<br />Regular City Council Minutes -12/16/02 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />public information and brought the Truth in Taxation <br />Public Hearing reconvened Public Hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets advised that several written comments <br />had been received by staff, and would be provided to <br />Council for their information. <br /> <br />No one appeared for or against. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn closed the Truth in Taxation Public <br />Hearing at 7 :26 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn gave the floor to Councilmember <br />Schroeder for presentation of some specific budget <br />changes he was proposing for the 2003 Budget. <br /> <br />Councihnelnber Klausing attelnpted a Point of <br />Information, with no acknowledgment by Mayor <br />Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka attempted to put forth a motion, <br />with no acknowledgement by Mayor Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder provided a bench handout <br />entitled, "Greg Schroeder's Proposed 2003 Budget <br />Changes," which looked at specific potential cuts to <br />reduce the budget and levy; in accordance with <br />Councilmember Klausing's challenge at the last meeting, <br />and incorporating those [budget] comments and <br />preferences for reductions expressed by Councilmember <br />Kou previous meetings. <br /> <br />Schroeder moved, Kough seconded, a motion to adopt the <br />2003 budget as presented and amended by Councilmember <br />Schroeder's proposed changes for a total proposed 2003 <br />budget in an amount of $34,468,895. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Schroeder and Kysylyczyn. <br />Klausing, Kough and Maschka. <br /> <br />Hearing <br />
