In addition, Roseville has <br />an excellent education system which is very positive for the <br />business community. This creative relat�onship between these <br />respective entities should continue to be explored. <br />Aesthetics <br />It is important to enhance the appropriate code requirements to <br />ensure the capacity to enforce pratection of pos�tive aesthetics <br />within the community. In addition, consideration should be given <br />to the development process in terms of providing appropriate <br />incentives to encourage enhanced landscaping above that which <br />would normaliy be required. <br />Inter-Governmental Relations <br />The City should explore the capacity to share services with <br />existing governmental entities including innovative approaches <br />with other communities. In addition, organizatians such as Metro <br />East, that facilitate a shared economic development appraach, <br />should be supported. <br />Communications <br />The Roseville newsletter is an excellent, direct line of <br />communication between the citizens and the City and should be <br />continued. Also, business should became more proactive in terms <br />of communicating and working with the City as opposed to operating <br />in a reactive mode. Consideration should be provided to ensure <br />the apprapriate input from citizens that are impacted by major <br />development projects. <br />Communit Identif Nei hborhaods <br />Creative use of PUD's and mixed uses should be used as a means of <br />protecting and encouraging neighborhood cohesiveness. <br />Transportation as well as safety are items that need to be <br />considered within the land use context to enhance existing <br />neighborhoods. <br />
