- Railroad lines now in existence shauld be kept and more <br />fully utilized if possible. If there is a rail line <br />abandonment in Roseville, some government agency should <br />acquire the land for public purposes. Roseville should <br />ensure safety at all highway and pedestrian crossings. <br />- Emergency vehicles should be strategica�ly located <br />throughout our community. Emergency vehicle routes <br />should b� established and marked, and Opticom (or equal <br />equipment) should be considered. <br />- Light rail planning should receive input from Roseville. <br />Roseville should preserve potential rights-of-way and <br />station Zocations, and identify possible routes for <br />tributary bus service. <br />- The RTB and MTC should make greater use of surveys among <br />present and potentia3 transit riders when planning <br />changes in suburban bus and van service. <br />- The RTB and MTC should provide transit schedules and <br />promotional material to homes and businesses by mail and <br />newspaper delivery. <br />- An integrated, comprehensive motorized and nonmotorized <br />transportation plan map for Roseville should be <br />prepared. <br />. Appoint a standing Advisory Commission consisting of two <br />representatives from each of the Vista 2000 Study Groups to <br />advise of future issues presented by the Vista 2400 <br />process. <br />0 <br />
