The graup <br />discussed aspects of each mission statement and directed staff to <br />combine all the ideas presented into one statement for review at <br />the next meeting. (Miss�on statements attached) <br />o Discussed how to appraach the city group tasks.. Discussed the <br />preparation of a vision first as well as collecting information to <br />work towards a final vision statement. While consensas was not <br />reached, more credence was given to the approach of preparing a <br />vision statement first, so the group had something to work towards. <br />It was acknow�edged that the vision statement would need to be <br />changed as studies proqre�sed. <br />o Garry proposed a matrix based on items identified at the October 22, <br />1992, meeting. <br />o Mike prepared a matrix based on major modes of transportation. <br />o Thor proposed that the group identify modes and prepare a matrix <br />similar to the one Mike had proposed. <br />
