� <br />Definition, or perhaps vision statement: <br />The Roseville transportation system will provide f�r the commercial <br />and individual transit needs of all its' citizens on arterials, <br />mass transit, and light rail systems, gidewalks, pedestrian and <br />bicycle trails, a11 coordinated with �ike systems of .neighboring <br />communities, and consistent with aesthetics suggested by other <br />Vista 200o committees. <br />Mission of th� committee: <br />The Roseviile Vista 2000 Transportation committee will prepare <br />qeneral guidelines (although we may suqqest specifics) for the <br />planning of a transportation system th�t will build on, modify, and <br />expand the present plan (of 1979} so as to meet the anticipated <br />transportation (and some recreation) needs of the citizens of <br />Roseville in the year 2000 and beyond as far as we dare to <br />speculate. <br />
