Roseville shou�.d promote and support the donation of resi- <br />dential reusable and repairable clothing, appliances, etc., <br />to charitable organizat�ons rather than being discarded. <br />CONCLUSION: ORGANZZED WASTE COLLECTION <br />5. Organized waste collection is expected to reduce the cost of <br />refuse collection, provide bene�a.ts o� safer streets, reduce <br />air and noise pol�utian, and reduce the cost of street main- <br />tenance. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />5a. The City of Rosevi�le shauld implement a program of <br />organized waste collection utilizing a method which takes <br />into cansideration the intersts of the Gity, its residents, <br />and the lzcensed refuse haulers serving the community. <br />Rates and services shoul.d be uniform throughQUt the City. <br />34 <br />� <br />
