<br />City Council Regular Meeting -11/27/06 <br />Minutes - Page 8 <br /> <br />additional blighted conditions in the redevelopment area. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke noted that the 2001 Master Plan adopted as part of <br />the Comprehensive Plan supported existing uses until such time as <br />redevelopment should occur and should have the support of the <br />City until that redevelopment occurred on those impacted parcels. <br /> <br />Discussion included what the current zoning was on the parcel (1- <br />2 or I-I, allowing auto dealerships with a CUP); type of new <br />vehicles (vans) being modified for handicapped use; the transition <br />being experienced in this area; variables with a CUP versus an <br />Interim Use Permit; and initial misunderstandings of on-site <br />operations as the Cummings Mobility business evolved and the <br />current status of the business selling vehicles and requiring a state <br />license to do so. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued related to potential time limits placed <br />on a CUP; whether an actual application had been received from <br />Cummings Mobility that would need extension of the 60-day <br />review period; the City serving administratively as a co-applicant <br />to resolve issues with pre-existing conditions similar to code <br />modifications; and staffs assistance to the public in interpreting <br />land use regulation processes and changing interpretations. <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Kough seconded, TABLING consideration of a <br />Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Cummings Mobility, 1755 <br />Country Road C (PF 3767), until December 18,2006. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Kough; Maschka; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing requested that the applicant be present at that <br />meeting. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Consider Authorizing AUAR Comment Period <br />Mayor Klausing advised that a letter had been received by the <br />City Council from Twin Lakes, LLC, terminating their contract <br />with the City of Roseville; and staff and the City Attorneys were <br />analyzing what that action meant legally; and requested a motion <br />to table action for the foreseeable future on the AUAR Update. <br /> <br />Resolution <br />Consider <br />Authorizing AUAR <br />Comment Period <br />
