A majority of residents had bought a Minnesota state lottery <br />ticket during the past year: <br />YES.......................................53� <br />NO........................................47$ <br />Ticket purchasers were more often Blue Collar households and high <br />school graduates. Non-lottery players were most often single <br />seniors, retirees, over 65 year olds, post-graduates, $62,500- <br />$75,000 yearly income househalds, and Zone 3 residents. <br />The lottery was the most popular form of gambling, by far. <br />Mast Roseville residents, then, had engaged in some farm af <br />lawful gambling activity during the past year. <br />Speeding Vehicles: <br />Respondents were asked: <br />Are speedinq sutomobiles and other <br />traftic a major problem? <br />Forty percent of the interviewees regarded speeding automobiles <br />and other traffic as a major problem: <br />YES.......................................40� <br />NO........................................60% <br />Only $50,000-$62,500 yearly income households were more likely to <br />consider speeding traffic as a major problem. <br />Since geography did not play a role in perceptions, no <br />apparent high risk areas emerged. <br />Hazardous Materials in Roseville: <br />Respondents were asked a trio of questions about the <br />perceived risks of pipelines and storage tanks in the community <br />and the type of actions to take to minimize their danger.
