As you may know, AAMCO and Williams <br />Pipeline Companies have storaqe tank <br />facilities in Roseville. <br />From what you have heard or seen, ho� <br />great of a publia safety concern do <br />you consider these tanks -- very qreat, <br />moderate, small, or not at all? <br />Fifty-four percent labeled the tanks as either a"very great" or <br />"maderate" public safety concern: <br />VERY GREAT ................................16� <br />MODERATE ..................................38% <br />SMALL .....................................24$ <br />NOT AT ALL ................................15� <br />DON'T KNOW/REFUSED .........................8% <br />Thirty-nine percent minimized the risks involved. <br />by: <br />Storage tanks were considered a"very great" safety concern <br />* 55-64 year olds <br />* Some callege education <br />* Zone 3 residents <br />High school graduates and Zone 1 residents were more apt to <br />see the starage tanks as a"moderate" concern. <br />They were viewed as a"small concern" by: <br />* 5-9 unit apartment building residents <br />* Professional--Technical households <br />* Post-graduates <br />Over 10 unit apartment building residents and Zone 2 <br />residents were much more likely to see the storage tanks as "not <br />at all" of a risk. <br />A majority ot residents, then, exhibit some concern over th� <br />starage tanks. <br />A similar question was asked about existing pipelines: <br />From what you have heard or seen, how <br />qreat of a public safety concern do <br />you consider the pipeline runninq <br />throuqb the community -- very qreat, <br />moderate, smal7., or not at all? <br />101 <br />
