CITY OFFICIALS AND STAFF <br />Respondents were asked a series of questions about city <br />government and city staff. In general, the City Council and <br />Mayor were well-regarded, but the latter figure palarized. The <br />City Staff earned exceptionally high ratings from Roseville <br />residents. <br />Job Evaluation of the Cit�r Staff: <br />Respondents were asked a trio af queries about the city <br />staff. Initially, contact was measured: <br />How much first-hand contact have you <br />had with the Roseville City Staff -- <br />quite a lot, some, very little, or none? <br />Thirty-nine percent reported at least "some" contact with the <br />city staff: <br />QUITE A LOT .........................•------9% <br />SOME......................................30� <br />VERY LITTLE ...............................42% <br />NONE......................................180 <br />DON'T KNOW/REFUSED .........................1% <br />5ixty percent reported "very little" or "none." <br />Zone 3 residents were more likely to have had "quite a lot" <br />of contact with the staff. 35-44 year olds and $50,000-$62,500 <br />yearly income households more often had "some" contact. "Little" <br />contact was more often reported by Clerical-Sales households, 55- <br />64 year olds, post-graduates, and $12,500-$25,Q00 yearly income <br />househalds. Renters, over 5 unit apartment building residents, <br />18-34 year o1ds, $25,000-$37,500 yearly income households, and <br />Zone 2 residents were more apt to report "none." <br />In comparison with other suburban communities, residents <br />108 <br />
